This didn’t come to me as a surprise, as His Excellency the president, Salva Kiir Mayardit, on several occasions, reaffirmed that his government would be full of astute politicians and technocrats who have the ability to champion the ”renewed hope” of his administration. Indeed, your hard work, dedication, and exceptional leadership have led you to this remarkable milestone, and it is truly a reflection of your tenacity. Your appointment to such a significant position is a testament to your exceptional skills, expertise, and unwavering commitment to serving our SPLM party and nation. Your remarkable accomplishments and tireless efforts have undoubtedly earned you the respect and admiration of His Excellency the president, your political confidants, your SPLM folks and the entire country. Your ability to navigate complex challenges with momentum, competency, elegancy and wisdom has been an inspiration to us all in SPLM party. No doubt you have proven this in Ministry of Petroleum of which during your leadership, ministry of petroleum and the whole oil sector witnessed a holistic and accurate transformation, and your visionary approach brought about positive change in numerous areas. Your passion for excellence and your relentless pursuit of progress and transformation have left an indelible mark on people of South Sudan and our SPLM party. You have demonstrated unparalleled dedication to public service, and your exceptional leadership qualities continue to inspire and motivate many in the party. Your years as minister of petroleum, Under-secretary and as Ministry of Petroleum’s technical adviser are a testament to your resilience and hard work. We are indeed fortunate and proud of a true party man who believes in inclusion and visionary leadership for the Nation. It is not only your professional accomplishments that deserve praise, but also your personal qualities that make you an extraordinary individual. Your humility, integrity, and genuine concern for the welfare of others have made a lasting impact on everyone privileged enough to have interacted and worked alongside you. HON.
