The Media Development Institute (MDI) has passed out 23 journalists who recently completed their training in Juba.
“Today, we are excited to witness a new cohort of talented journalists who have graduated from Media Development Institute joining the Alumni family. The 7th batch of 2022/23 consists of 23 exceptional individuals, 8 of whom are females and 15 are males,” it said in a statement issued on it’s Facebook page.
It said the journalists were awarded advanced certificate in journalism.
Since 2016, MDI has now graduated a total of 155 journalists, all of whom have gone on to make significant contributions to the field of journalism.
The Media Development Institute revealed that the advanced certificate in journalism program has equipped graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession.
“We extend our warmest congratulations to the Class of 2022/23 and their families, as well as to the trainers who have guided and supported them throughout their academic journey,” it said.
