The Governor of Central Equatoria State Emmanuel Adil Anthony has urged the Tali Community of Terekeka County to embrace peace and embark on agriculture as the only way to boost food security amidst the skyrocketing market prices.
The governor made the remarks during his meeting with the Chairperson of the Tali community, Angelo Maring Nyikuach.
Governor Emmanuel also reiterated his administration’s commitment towards resumption of Terekeka-Tindilo-Tali road project and provision of other essential services to the populace.
Speaking to the Press Unit after the meeting, Hon. Maring asserted that they briefed the leadership on the recently concluded peace and reconciliation conference for the three communities of Tindilo,Mundari Mulla, and Tali, respectively.
In attendance was the State Minister of peace Building, Hon. Francis Gerald.
