President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Monday held a meeting with the newly appointed IGAD Special Envoy to Sudan, Hon. Lawrence Korbandy, on ways of promoting dialogue through diplomatic acumen among the warring parties in Sudan.
During the meeting, Hon. Korbandy briefed President Kiir on strategies to restore peace and stability in Sudan and commended him for his peace efforts in the region.
