South Sudan’s comedian Dina Kiden is calling on all people in the country to work for peace.
Kiden’s call comes at a time when tension is high among the political leadership in the country.
“If there is peace, I can travel to Malakal to do comedy, but if there is no peace, I cannot move.” Said Kiden.
Last week forces loyal to South Sudan’s president Salva Kiir clashed with opposition forces under first Vice President Riek Machar in the Upper Nile region.
