A 17-year-old boy was hacked to death on Monday morning in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
The deceased, identified as Mangok Mawien Deng was killed at his home in Maper Ayaai village of Aweil North County.
A cousin whom he shares a room with, and is at large, is the main suspect in the murder.

Diing Reech Akook, the police inspector at Ariath Payam in the area said a search team for the missing cousin has been dispatched.
Akook told Juba Echo that the dead body was covered in a bed sheet after the murder.
“The wounds all over his body were axe wounds according to our investigation,” he said.
“We are currently in search of his cousin who sleeps with him in the same room, he is our prime suspect.”
While promising to apprehend the suspect “soon,” Akook urged the family of the deceased to be calm.
