Philanthropist Achai Alor Kuol alias Achai Wiir on Tuesday donated medical equipment and wheel chair motorbikes to support poor people and persons living with disabilities in Aweil town.
“I am delivering a few items, the tricycles, wheelchairs, and hospital beds. These will impact positively on the lives of our underserved people,” said Alor while addressing journalists in Aweil town of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State.
The Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State Tong Aken Ngor, hailed Alor for supporting needy people not only in the state but across the country.
“The reason you (Alor) see your support being embraced highly is because you have a unique heart, and that is what this nation requires. The philanthropic work comes from the bottom of the heart of the giver. We as government do highly recognize your support,” said Ngor.
Alor who hails from Abyei Administrative Area has been camped in Aweil town for one week.
She founded Achai Wiir Foundation which provides support to needy and vulnerable South Sudanese in the country.
