The coordinator for Expanding Immunization Programme, EPI for Northern Bahr El Gazal state, Santino Ngon Chan appealed to parents in the state to take their children for measles vaccination as days planned duration for the jab comes to an end.
Santino Ngong Chan said On Monday that the measles campaign is coming to an end and it is a right time for parents to bring their children for vaccinations.
Ngong said that any parent who has not taken his/her child for vaccination has to speed up for this opportunity since the campaign is scheduled to end on Wednesday this week
“It is coming to an end and the measle vaccines are free. Kindly take your child for vaccination, and he or she will get free vaccines.” He stated.
Ngong said that if a parent has not taken his/her child for vaccination they could get the vaccines in the health facilities any time from Tuesday.
“Take your child to the nearest facility if you have not taken the child to any of the measles vaccination centers. The vaccines are free and the WHO has given this opportunity to the parents. Free of charge!” He added
