The chief Executive officer of MTN South Sudan today handed over 75 million South Sudanese pound to the National Basketball official in Juba.
Mr. Gordian Kyomukama says this cheque which was given out today is part of MTN’s partnership commitment signed with SSBF in September last year. “we committed money and in-kind last year and we are making it’s follow up this year with this”
The partnership he said was valued at 400,000 United States Dollars of which MTN issued the first cheque of equivalence to $ 100,000 in South Sudanese pound in 2022. The cheque presented to SSBF today amount to 75 million South Sudanese Pound
For his part Mr. Orom Makmot, the vice president of South Sudan Basketball federation appreciates MTN South Sudan for supporting the sporting activities in the country
He promised that some of this cash will go to the development of the women basketball team and other priorities areas of the federation.
