Juba county commissioner calls for establishment of youth enterprise fund

The Juba County Commissioner Charles Joseph Wani has called for establishment of the youth enterprise fund to support young people in Central Equatoria State with start-up business capital.

“I am requesting that in our state there must be empowerment of youth and women, let’s have a percentage for women to engage them in enterprises,” Wani said during the official visit of the state governor to Juba County headquarter on Friday.

Emmanuel Adil Anthony, the Governor for Central Equatoria State said communities need to be involved in peacebuilding initiatives, adding that peacebuilding is a collective responsibility.

“We have the revitalized peace agreement being implemented, we want all problems to stop, we need peace among communities so that we build new life,” Anthony said.

He also called for good relation and cooperation with other states.

“I believe unity is strength, we do not need to talk about unity that is not in practice,” Anthony said.
