The Governor of Central Equatoria Emmanuel Adil Anthony has call citizens to line up along the streets the day the pope will be coming as a way of welcoming him in the country.
” I call upon all the people particularly the residents to turn up in big numbers along the street to line up from the airport along side Yam hotel road. he also, Muduria round about and then the Ministry’s road and up to Dr. John Garang where he will have and have a meeting with the president of the republic and other dignitaries,”
He called on the resident to come out and jubilation in a South Sudanese way.
He added that there has been measures put in place to secure the people and the visitors through the security measures.
“There are routes that have been made to prevent a lot of traffics and not to block the citizens but to allow citizens to move,” he said.
