The mother of Akuot Agany Kut, Achan Ariel said she is scared for the life of her remaining children in her husband’s home.

Ariel said she had left her children with her husband after the court decided that she leaves her husbands home and goes for 6 months to her family home.

“I hope my daughter’s treatment goes well and I also hope that all my children that are left in the village can be brought to me such that I can see them because I am worried,” she worried.

Arier said she has been going through tough times in her husband’s home and regret leaving stating that all these would have not happened if she had not left.

“If I knew that this would have affected my daughter, I wouldn’t have listened to what the government (court) had said and left to our house.”

She cried that, “What has happened would have happened to me if I did not go to my father’s house. I would be the first to be killed (for the safety of my daughter)

Arier called on the government to bring her children to her citing that her children conditions are bad.

“My heart is not at peace. I urges the government to bring my boys that I left behind to Juba where I am currently,” she said.

Arier had a disagreement with her husband prior to her daughters eyes being gouged, when the disagreement found not be resolved by family members, the matter was taken to court which ruled that Arier goes to her father’s house for six months.

She left her daughter behind, it’s in her absence that the father of the girl gouged the girl’s eyes.
