At least twenty-five youths concluded a one-month training on the Youth and Women Economic Empowerment project the training was organized by Salam Junub, under the theme of empowering farmers, child soldiers, and survivors of GBV through clinic training on Business Entrepreneurship skills for their livelihoods.
Out of twenty-five, Fifteen males and 10 females acquire different Business skills in Gurei Peace Tree Hub.
In his key remarks during the graduation, the senior administrative officer, of central Equatoria state Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dimba Shafic Taban, urged the participants to put the skills they have acquired in use as they go and start their Business.”
He says the state government and Salam Junub will continue to monitor all the twenty-five participants on how they are carrying out their work in the Markets.”
“And calls on more inclusive training to persons with Disability to also be part of the training.”
Administrative officers Luri Payam, Romburu Boma, and Emmanuel Goro welcomed the move and urged the participants not to give up but to continue engaging in different types of Business to support their families with school fees and providing food on the table for the kids or family members at home. “
The Founding Member of Salam Junub, Bush Buse, says the twenty-five participants will be given 200 USD per person to start their Business Entrepreneurship. Buse urged the participants to use the money for business but no other work that could waste their money for nothing. He added that Salam Junub will continue to train twenty-five youths every year with Business skills in Juba. Some of the participants share mixed reactions saying they will use the skills they acquire to carry out their business to support them in school and their families at large. The twenty-five youths were awarded a certificate of completion in Business Entrepreneurship skills by Salam Junub.

However, Eliza John under scores for sharing them with the support, she outlines some challenges they are Encountering during this economic Hardship, like paying school fees for the children, she promised to utilize the knowledge he learned to apply for the business so that it can sustain it.
