Governor Tong donates 300,000 SSP to mother of quadruplets at Aweil hospital

The Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal state Tong Aken Ngor paid a courtesy visit to a woman who last week gave birth to quadruplets in Aweil Civil hospital.

 Governor Ngor donated 300,000 SSP to the father and mother of the two boys and two girls.

 The mother of the infants Ayak Koryom praised the Governor for the timely donation.

“I am glad for the visit done by the governor and indeed for the money he gave to us. My husband and I will use the money well for feeding the babies,” she told Juba Echo on Sunday during the visit of the governor to Aweil hospital.

She appealed to Governor Ngor to continue supporting the poor in Northern Bahr El Ghazal state.

Anei Anei Thuc, the father of the quadruplets thanked Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) for supporting Aweil hospital.

Governor Tong also inspected the various departments of Aweil hospital administered by MSF.

He pledged to support the training of local doctors and nurses to ensure effective service delivery in the hospital.
