A charity known as New Life Ministry which is a church-based organization that embarks on education and health projects in Aweil West county is offering transient free health services in Nyamlel.
James Lual Atak, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of the organization flew in from Juba on Monday with a team of six doctors to give free medication to the local residents who are sick.
Lual told this outlet on Wednesday the services are free.
“Our people are suffering and that is why we have taken the bold decision to come and render them medical services here. There are critical tropical diseases here. And it is important as New Life Ministry to support them,” he narrated.
Atak appeals to residents who have not come to the center of the services to hurry up and reach the doctors who will go back in a week’s time.
One of the residents, Adut Garang said on phone Interview that their opportunity is a godsend one, saying it is a pleasure that the son of the area offered free services.
“I have been having joints pain, and feeling abnormal for ages. I am too impoverished. Nothing that I have to sell away and go for further treatment. Now these doctors have given me enough drugs and they even gave us free water and tea” She expounded.
She urges other people who are neighboring Nyamlel to hurry up for free medical aid.
