Four former members of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State parliament have been reinstated following a presidential decree on Tuesday.
The four were elected into parliament in 2010 but had been left out of the new August house instituted by the peace agreement.
They include Ernest Mangok Mangok, Achak Thiep Thiep, Angok Achuol Barjok and Majok Wol Wol.
The decree read on South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation also revoked the appointment of MPs who replaced them.
“They will be sworn in soon and will carry on with their duties,” the speaker of the NBGs transitional Legislative Assembly, Achol William Amuoi told Juba Echo on Wednesday.
Ernest Mangok Mangok, one of the reinstated members vowed to work for the interest of the people.
Northern Bahr el Ghazal state parliament officially opened last week with a swearing in of members.
